Ready for departure

We're at Spokane International Airport, less than an hour from departure. Everyone made it through security without having to submit to a strip search, although Jan's artificial hip and my bag of cameras and cables merited some extra attention.

In the picture, Kenzie Wade relaxes as she prepares herself for a long day in the air.

  3. I wrote a really long, cool comment and then accidentally lost it. But I just wanted to say we miss you guys. It was nice to get that text. Love you all!

  4. Okay, the long version of what I siad yesterday because I couldn't type it again because I needed to sleep. I am very thankful for technology because we can keep track of you guys and contact you guys even though you are half way across the world and many time zones away- that is a weird thought! We missed Tom, Deanna and Kenzie last night without you guys at youth. Chase did this cool deminstration where we burned our sins- literally! I'd love to know what the neighbors thought when they saw us lighting fire to something around back of the church. I'm praying for you guys and we miss you. I hope you had a safe trip (I think that it will already be over when you get this, the different time zones mess me up). I can't wait to hear about your adventures and experiences. If you didn't already on the way there, you should all use the drinking fountains at the seattle-Tacoma airport (you'll know why when you do!) Love you all! Always praying and thinking you all!

P.S. Thanks for the text, Kenzie. I got it when I was turning my phone on when I got out of Volleyball. I was excited to get it because I had been thinking of you guys and I said a little prayer in second period at 10:30am. I also said one at seven thirty, when you guys met up at the church and said good byes. I was sad I couldn't be there, but you know, school! Why couldn't they call a day off for you guys to leave? Jk! Anyway, this a long post- script, but I will keep in touch! Have fun, learn a lot, stay close to God and impact lives.
